Conceptualised in 1995, Gamuda Land has since built a reputation as being a responsible town-maker. Our dedication to good town-making is underscored by our strong focus on the elements of thoughtful master planning, innovative placemaking and sustainable community building.
We master plan by harmoniously bringing all the key elements together. These include the architecture, how the right facilities and amenities are laid out to cater to the community’s lifestyle needs, how the streets are laid out to encourage walking and biking, and how the parks and landscapes sit within the development. All these create a “personality” for the place, so the people who live there experience a real difference and want to be a part of it.
Listening to what the land tells us is another important aspect of our master plan. It sees us endeavouring to preserve the natural features of the land – the hills, rivers, wetlands and forests – and blending them into our neighbourhoods. Seamlessly integrating the natural with the manmade to improve liveability in our townships.
In 2018, Gamuda Land officially became the first property developer to make a pledge to scientifically audit the health of biological diversity in our new towns via Gamuda Parks, a self-driven initiative that sees the coming together of various NGOs, experts as well as consultants who work with flora and fauna to improve the design and maintenance of Gamuda Land’s parks in our new towns.
In every development that we undertake, we continue to artfully leverage on our wealth of experience and expertise to deliver long-term value and build sustainable communities. Moving forward, Gamuda Land will continue to strengthen our position as a reputable town-maker and trusted brand that delivers good sustainable towns to our communities and stakeholders.
