About Sime Darby Property Berhad

Sime Darby Property is Malaysia’s largest property developer in terms of land bank with 20,572 acres of remaining developable land. On the back of a successful 45-year track record of developing sustainable communities, Sime Darby Property has to date built 23 active townships/developments with a global reach that encompasses assets and operations across the Asia Pacific region and the United Kingdom. In the UK, as part of a Malaysian consortium, Sime Darby Property is the developer of the iconic Battersea Power Station project in central London.

Sime Darby Property is a multiple award-winning property group with numerous local and international accolades. CSR Initiatives at Sime Darby Property

Sime Darby Property Berhad is partnering UNICEF (The United Nations Children’s Fund) to build Malaysia’s first Inclusive Playground at the award winning City of Elmina Township. Scheduled for completion in the first half on 2019, the inclusive playground will be an integral part of the township’s 300-acre central park. The project aims to create opportunities for children with disabilities, Children with Disabilities (CwD) to be visible and interact with other children.

In addition to that, Drop Everything and Roll (D.E.A.R programme) is a series of corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) programme with selected welfare homes within or neighbouring our townships. It is aims to change the selected welfare homes into more comfortable places for the resident and support in term of monetary donation.

For Yayasan Sime Darby’s Back to School Programme, Sime Darby Property Berhad collaborated with Yayasan Sime Darby to alleviate the financial burden of families with household incomes below RM3,000 a month by providing school supplies for their children.

All of these programmes would not be a success without our volunteers. Sime Darby Property Volunteers Programme (SDPVP) is to manage Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and facilitate the participation of Sime Darby Property staff to be actively involve in volunteering. Since June 2018, seven SDPVP have been conducted so far, 116 volunteers took part in our programme and clocked in 446 volunteer hours.
